boxen serving daemons, that's what this bsd stands for.

i had intended to make a page dedicated to freebsd (my os of choice) but i decided to make it more computer general as i hope to post hardware stuff i hack (or feebly try to). i have to admit i'm not very handy with a soldering iron, nor can i program anything more than simple shell scripts of php pages. anyway...

well, i'm addicted to freebsd. my firewall, fileserver / webserver and workstation are all running freebsd in some form or another, as does my laptop most of the time (it's a testing machine, so it gets to see other os' every once and a while).

my hobby is getting a bit out of hand lately, what with a 19" rack arrving soon to house my growing pile of active computers... at least it's an efficient way of storing stuff.
